CSC starts online system to check eligibility
DSG | CSC starts online system to check eligibility | MANILA – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has started an online system for checking eligibility. This system lets human resource management officers (HRMOs) of government agencies and the public receive information about civil service eligibility.
Karlo Nograles, the head of the CSC, said in a news release on Wednesday that the agency’s HRMO can now use the portal to check a person’s eligibility instead of needing applicants to send in a proof of eligibility that has been verified.
“More importantly, it strengthens the integrity of the way the government recruits, screens, and hires people,” he said.
The Civil Service Eligibility Verification System (https://csevs.csc.gov.ph/user/eligibility), which was made by the government itself, is an online search tool that gives access to the database of eligible people who have passed the Career Service Examination pen-and-paper test, computerised test, and computer-assisted test.
It also includes people who are eligible because of special rules or orders from the CSC.
Nograles said, “This integrated system is meant to reduce the cost and time that the eligible, the HRMOs, and the CSC verifiers spend on eligibility verification and authentication procedures.” (via PNA)
